The season
on one grid
Every one of the 380 fixtures in a single 20 × 20 table. Read down a column for a club’s home matches and across a row for its away matches; the cell where the two meet carries the date. Shading runs pale in August to deep in May, so the flow of the season is visible at a glance. Any date opens its matchweek.
Columns run left to right as the home club · rows run top to bottom as the away club · blocked cells are a club against itself.

All 20 clubs
Every club that played in the 2025/26 Premier League, in alphabetical order by three-letter code. Each page carries all 38 results, home and away.

Wall chart
The season
on one grid
Every one of the 380 results in a single 20 × 20 table. Read down a column for a club’s home record and across a row for its away record; the cell where the two meet carries the score, home side first. Each axis is set in the club’s own colour, and every cell is shaded by the home side’s result — green a home win, red a home defeat, charcoal a draw. Any score opens its matchweek.
Columns run left to right as the home club · rows run top to bottom as the away club · shading is from the home club’s point of view · blocked cells are a club against itself.

The season
on one grid
The same 20 × 20 table, showing only the 108 matches that produced four goals or more. Every other cell is left empty, so the season’s heaviest scoring stands on its own — read down a column for the goals a club shipped or scored at home, across a row for the same away from it.

League table
The completed 2025/26 table. Every column below is computed from the 380 results held in this file rather than transcribed, so the table and the results prove one another.
Arsenal finished seven points clear of Manchester City on 85 points, a fourth Premier League title. West Ham United, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers were relegated. The twenty goal differences sum to nought, as they must.

Appearances include substitute appearances — chained substitutions in the source are resolved in full — and won, drawn and lost are the club’s results in the matches each player featured in, so the three always sum to the appearance count. Goalkeeper and the defensive line are read directly from the recorded team-sheets and reflect where a man actually played. The sheets’ ordering of the midfield and forward lines is not dependable, so those two are assigned per club by calibration against 244 players of known position, who are themselves pinned to their true roles; a residual midfield–forward ambiguity remains possible among fringe players. Centre-back is not distinguished from full-back. A player who never started shows no position.
Age is as at 15 August 2025, the opening day. Nationality and age come from a separate open player database, not from the match record, and are shown only where the name matches a single player in it — 436 of 551 across the division. Where a name is shared by more than one footballer, or is absent, both fields are left blank rather than guessed. Unlike the appearance figures, neither column is reconciled against anything.

Every club’s league position after each of the 38 rounds. Columns are matchweeks, rows are positions, and each cell carries the club in its own colour, so a side’s run through the season reads as a single thread down the chart.
Arsenal held first place for 31 of the 38 matchweeks and were not displaced after matchweek 35. 3 clubs led the table at some point and 2 occupied last place. The matchweek 38 column is the final table, and matches it exactly.
Columns run left to right as matchweeks · rows run top to bottom as league position · the band above gives the month each round belongs to · any matchweek number opens that round
Each column is computed from rounds 1 to that matchweek complete, so every club has played the same number of matches in every column, irrespective of when those matches were actually staged. Clubs level on points are separated by goal difference, then goals scored, then alphabetically — the same order the Premier League publishes.

race
Every club’s running points total across the 38 rounds, each line in its own colour and labelled at the right-hand end. The lines begin together at nought and fan out; the steeper the line, the better the run of form. Where clubs finished level, their labels are nudged apart and a leader joins each back to its own line.

The chart is drawn from the same 380 results as the rest of this file, on the same basis as the position grid: the total after rounds one to that matchweek complete. The column of labels is laid out at build time — each begins at the height of its line’s final value, then any that would overlap are pushed apart by the smallest amount that clears them, keeping their top-to-bottom order the same as the finishing order so that no leader line crosses another.

Each row is a club in final table order, each column a matchweek, and each cell the opponent faced — filled green for a win, red for a defeat and charcoal for a draw, from that row’s point of view. Away matches carry a lighter fill and a rule beneath the opponent’s name. Read across for one club’s run of form, or down a column to see a whole round at once.

Ordered by capacity, largest first · capacity is that recorded at the start of the 2025/26 season
Capacities are those published in the official Premier League Handbook for 2025/26, which records each ground’s capacity at the start of that season, so they are the figures that applied through the campaign rather than today’s. Opening years are the year the ground first came into use; where a ground was later rebuilt on the same site, or was built for another purpose before football was played there, the note beneath says so. None of this is derived from the match data and none of it is reconciled against it.

Ordered by final league position · a red rule marks the one club whose chairman changed during the season
Levy stepped down as executive chairman on 4 September 2025 after almost 25 years; Charrington took the newly created role of non-executive chairman. The club stated there was no change to ownership or shareholder structure. No club changed hands during the season. Arsenal had no chairman: the post has been vacant since 2020, with the club controlled by the Kroenke family through Kroenke Sports & Entertainment.
Chairmen are as recorded in the official Premier League Handbook for 2025/26, published in July 2025, which lists the officers of each club at the start of the season; the one subsequent change is shown alongside. Controlling entities and owner nationalities are drawn from club statements and press reporting. Ownership is often layered through holding companies and minority stakes, so the entity named is the one exercising control rather than a full account of the shareholding. None of this is derived from the match data or reconciled against it.

in charge
Thirty men took charge of a Premier League side in 2025/26, the most turbulent season for managers since 2022/23. Each row is a club and each column a month; a manager’s name sits at the centre of his tenure with the line running out to either end of it. Hover any name for the exact dates.

Rows are clubs · columns are months · each month is awarded to whoever held the post for the greater part of it
Because every bar is snapped to whole months, a spell too short to win a month is absorbed into the manager who did. Darren Fletcher’s eight days at Manchester United between Rúben Amorim and Michael Carrick, and Calum McFarlane’s first week at Chelsea before Liam Rosenior arrived, therefore do not appear as bars. Tenures are drawn from BBC Sport’s record of manager ins and outs and from the clubs’ own statements; unlike the results in this file they cannot be arithmetically reconciled.

final tables
Ten seasons side by side, oldest first, running from 2017/18 to the season now beginning. Rows are finishing positions, so reading across a row shows who held that place year on year, and reading down a column gives a whole season’s table. The 2026/27 column is left blank: that season begins on 21 August 2026 and has not been played.

Columns run left to right from 2017/18 to 2026/27 · rows are finishing positions · each cell is a club’s three-letter code in its own colour
Every table here is computed from that season’s 380 results rather than transcribed, and each was then checked against the champions, the champions’ points total and the three relegated clubs before being accepted. The two points deductions of 2023/24 — eight for Everton and four for Nottingham Forest — are applied, which is why that column places them below where their results alone would put them. Clubs level on points are separated by goal difference, then goals scored.

points
The same ten seasons plotted against points rather than position. Seasons run left to right, oldest first; the scale runs from nought at the foot to 100 at the head. Every club sits at the exact total it finished on, so the height of a column — and the shaded envelope joining the best and worst of each year — is a true picture of how tightly or loosely that season’s twenty were packed. Champions are ringed in green and carry their figure.

Seasons run left to right, oldest first · the scale is labelled every ten points · the shaded band spans each season’s highest and lowest total · clubs level on points are set side by side at the same height
No club is moved up or down to make room: every code is drawn at its exact points total, and where codes would collide they are spread sideways instead, in lanes centred on the season’s own axis. That keeps the vertical reading honest, which is the whole point of the chart. Clubs finished level on points 19 times across the nine seasons, and those pairs and trios appear side by side. Every figure is computed from that season’s 380 results, with the two points deductions of 2023/24 applied.
